Hiya! I drove him in very light but freezing rain, and its expected to switch to snow sometime tonight. This winter has been horrible and I'm ready for it to end. January has really flown by. Take care and have a safe trip further south :)

Gee, it's nice of LJ to send me a comment notification - not! WTF? Good thing I decided to look at my own LJ today.

The concert was fun, but the trip there and back is an absolute misery that I always dread. All I need is a day in Tampa traffic to feel better about Orlando traffic. Not that Orlando traffic isn't complete crap, but Tampa is just that much worse.

I'm sure you guys are more than ready for winter to end. We're already back in the 80's down here, and supposed to stay that way for a week. Then we get a couple days in the 70's, then back in the 80's.

I'm getting my notifications two days after the posts. LJ effing up again *sigh*

We had sleet/freezing rain last night, and we're expecting sleet/snow again on Tuesday. This really has become Laura Ingalls Wilder's The Long Winter.

Hope your trip to Tampa was uncomplicated. It was a pretty dreary and chilly day here yesterday as well. Much better today. Haven't really watched many new t.v. shows since most are on hiatus until after the Super Bowl. Did like Supernatural, Justified and Blacklist. But I just hate it when they leave you hanging like on Grimm. Think I have mentioned that before. Take care.

Unfortunately, no, it's was crap. We had to race over during rush hour because The Boy worked until after 4 pm. So traffic was a nightmare. Then coming back we ran into a nightly ramp closure to I-4, essentially completely cutting off that very vital route. I mean, seriously?!?!?!?

Massive amounts of traffic detoured through frigging Ybor City - not a place one wants to drive through in the day much less after 11 pm. Then the detour signs just stopped at one point, and everyone was on their own trying to figure out how to get back onto I-4.

I despise having to go to Tampa for anything!

It was dreary here yesterday too. Today it's sunny and hot. A/C is pumping away.
