Y'know, I'd heard that "Dragon Tattoo" was a tad bit violent, and I have a pretty low "ook factor" tolerance and so had some doubts about it, which you've just confirmed... !

Re the Eternal Casey -- uh, huh, and yeah, I've seen her featured on one of the forensic shows as I was channel-surfing... wonder if we could get her to go wandering on the Prairie during 'gator mating season..?? I don't generally wish people ill, but for her, I'll make an exception..

It's more than a tad violent, and I'm not a huge fan of graphic violence myself, which was one reason I wasn't in a hurry to run out and see this flick. So, no, if you're like me or worse, you'll have a tough time of it. There's a good mystery, and the cinematography is glorious. But, yeah, I'll never sit through it again.

You gotta remember, she's our own little local homegrown sociopath, so Orlando is going to continue to follow her for the rest of her miserable little life. And I have no problem wishing her ill. She's a young sociopath, so IMO she isn't done yet, unfortunately.
