It's hot. Too hot! Too hot in the hot tub! And last week we had almost too much rain. This week we need rain.
The Spousal Unit flies out tomorrow morning for a day long trip to Michigan and back. I hate it when he has to travel for work. I never get used to it, after all these years.

I never read the books, so that wouldn't be a problem - but I did read from some book fans that they had to view the series as a form of an AU to enjoy it.
I watched the first episode that aired and was put off because I felt I was being dumped into a story mid-sentence with no introduction to characters or universe and wasn't impressed. I hate when a network isn't confident enough in its product to air the Pilot or the story in the correct order from the outset (ala Firefly). I heard there was a cut-down form of the Pilot that aired later, but I didn't see it. I caught bits and pieces of a couple episodes later in the season. Again, since the first episode didn't grab me, it was never on my must-see list. I have trouble watching things like her relationship with Diana because it diminishes Diana so much in my eyes to put up ( ... )

True, plus we had April acknowledging that she couldn't be trusted and needed the minders to keep her on the straight and narrow. So, the growth was there by the end to an extent.
And, of course, Diana finally gets to admit she wants to stay in Seattle - though I wonder how long the boyfriend is going to be happy with that decision? I wouldn't mind if he dropped out of the picture, though, because I've never been all that crazy about him, I have to admit. I like Tom for her - or even Marco. :)
