We both use flickr in a similar way - as a kind of visual blog. We both 'snap' what we observe, or what we're doing.

I used to get daily emails telling me when my contacts have uploaded new pictures, which made it easy to follow along. But for some reason those have stopped coming so now I have to remember to go and check to see what people have been up to over there. I'd like to get the notifications again, however... Will have to look into it.

Why not use isync ?

It's for 'synchronising' diaries - if you have i-cal on a desktop and on a portable and you schedule meetings on the portable, isync will bring to two copies of i-cal into line, by means of airport, bluetooth or even internet. I think if I had airport on the G4 I could synchronise the softwares by means of ReWire. What would be ideal would be linking them by USB and having the machines 'see' each other that way, but I don't think it works like that.
