Hana no Ken, Haruka/Michiru drabble, OMG FANFIC!!

I haven't written fanfic in ages. I haven't felt inspired and haven't had the energy it takes of me. But this piece has been in my head for days now and I just needed to get it out in words. I quite like the result. It feels wonderful writing from Haruka's point of view again, even though it's once again quite Michiru-centred (I just adore Michiru

This was such a beautiful piece to read. You've captured Haruka's view on Michiru so perfectly. She really is the only person to understand someone like Michiru. I've noticed a lot of Sailor Moon authors have a hard time pinning down Michiru's characteristics but you have such a great understanding of her, that I must applaud you for a well written story.

Oh, thank you, I'm really glad you liked... despite it being un-betaed and hot off the press. I just found this piece so liberating after having written it that I needed to share it right away.

Btw. Destined Couple isn't dead, but it'll probably be a while before you receive the next chapter. I have some trouble with it and will see if I can write myself into the feeling of it again by writing some more short one-shots. But I hope you're still interested in helping me with it?

I love how you've captured Michiru's character, she is the one outer senshi I have a hard time writing.

I'm glad you like my characterisation of Michiru. She's probably my favourite Outer Senshi because she's both so alike and very different from me. I love writing from Haruka's point of view, though. She's a really interesting character to work with.

Of the Outer Senshi I find Hotaru most difficult to work with. I adore her complexity and the duality of her powers, but because she's so young and holds such a cruel mission... No, I have a real hard time imagining what that would be like.

She's my favorite senshi, I just have a hard time pinpointing her characterisation - Haruka is my least favorite of the four outers, but probably the easiest for me to write, funny. =)

I'm fond of both, actually - the fic and the song. ;)

“Tag,” she murmurs and even her voice is set free. Haruka raises an eyebrow good-humouredly and watches Michiru’s smile turn into a playful smirk as she spins around, her long hair dancing around her face like waves, and breaks into a run.

“Yareyare,” Haruka sighs, giving the other woman a hundred metres start before she herself moves.

I really enjoy that bit. :) Love your writing.

I'm glad you liked my writing in this. I felt kind of stange writing in English again, because I haven't written fic in English for a while so I had to find my tone of voice and Michiru's and Haruka's characters again, but it felt very liberating, so I'll definitely be doing it again soon (especially with sm_monthly's great theme for April - yay, Outer Senshi!)

It's funny that you picked that particular bit because it's my favourite as well along with the first line. It was the first situation popping into my head when I decided that this fic was going to be written.
