I haven't written fanfic in ages. I haven't felt inspired and haven't had the energy it takes of me. But this piece has been in my head for days now and I just needed to get it out in words. I quite like the result. It feels wonderful writing from Haruka's point of view again, even though it's once again quite Michiru-centred (I just adore Michiru

I love how you've captured Michiru's character, she is the one outer senshi I have a hard time writing.

I'm glad you like my characterisation of Michiru. She's probably my favourite Outer Senshi because she's both so alike and very different from me. I love writing from Haruka's point of view, though. She's a really interesting character to work with.

Of the Outer Senshi I find Hotaru most difficult to work with. I adore her complexity and the duality of her powers, but because she's so young and holds such a cruel mission... No, I have a real hard time imagining what that would be like.

She's my favorite senshi, I just have a hard time pinpointing her characterisation - Haruka is my least favorite of the four outers, but probably the easiest for me to write, funny. =)

I'm fond of both, actually - the fic and the song. ;)

I definitely don't mind the rambling at all, if anything it's very interesting. And yes, the icon is shiokaze_senshi's work.

I've always loved the outer senshi and I favor them over the inners greatly - I think it's because they weren't shown as much as I would have liked in the anime/manga/musicals. They're more intriguing. Now that I think about it, you're right, we weren't really given the chance to see Michiru's background (which is a bit upsetting, I would love to know more about her). Haruka's character felt more established within the cannon.

And Setsuna and Hotaru... I love writing them for the same reasons - such interesting characters (all four of them really).
