I had not one, but TWO guys throwing themselves at me yesterday at ali's wedding. they were pretty much getting ready to have a 7th grade beat down brawl over my attention. like, begging me to let them sleep over

I don't feel like this is rightly my business. And I can't conjure that anything I'm about to say is anything you haven't heard before. Still, I can't help myself.
STOP thinking about him. Stop calling him. Stop expecting him to call you. He made it clear long ago that you are not a priority to him. Make him persona non grata. Delete his number from your cell phone. If you are friends with him on Facebook or Myspace or anything like that, delete that connection. If he texts or calls after that, simply ignore him. I've had to do all that recently with someone who I finally realized was only hindering my life.
He's not doing anything for you, and there's no reason to expect that he's going to. The only way to get over him is to write him out of your life completely. It may sound harsh, but I honestly believe it is the best thing for you to do right now.
Regardless of what happens, I wish you the best. You're a great person who deserves much more out of life than what she's getting. The Trashman has got your back!

if anything, i'm glad you said something....even if you feel it's not your business. even before you posted this comment, i woke up this morning and the first thing i did was delete all of the photos of adam and i on facebook. i decided to [at least] stop putting out a vibe that he and i have any sort of relationship at all [friends or othrwise]. i also decided to stop publicly acknowledging his existance [no more facebook wall posts, etc]. i'm still not sure what i'll do the next time he calls...because eventually he will and: A) I'LL WANT SO BADLY TO REAM HIM OUT FOR BEING SUCH AN ASSHOLE B) CURIOUSITY ALWAYS GETS THE BEST OF ME
i appreciate your kind words, though interlaced with a harsh reality. :( and tell the Trashman the birds of War owe him a case of riot punch! in appreciation.
