i was thinking Snake at first but when i got to your traits section and beyond i started thinking of a bird which i was a bit hesitant at first because there seemed to be an obvious preference, but i think overall a Bird is a good fit... maybe specifically like an Owl since it fits your habitat, your traits, your this-or-that, and you characteristics :)
