I finally ventured in to the land of contact lenses. Today I had them on a few hours and plan to ramp up the duration as the days go by. Diya (housemate Keith’s fiancé) thinks with my clean shave look and contacts I look quite young like around 21. Hahaha :P

welcome to the club! yeah, you look a bit weird without the glasses for a while, then your face/eyes adjust to the not having a piece of glass infront of your face at all times scenario :) .

colour contacts are expensive.. which ones are you on now? I've heard there were monthly ones, that you can wear continuously. not sure if they're a good idea ?

i've got clear (normal) soft ones. monthly use.

do you have to take them out everyday or can you just leave them in for the month?

i take them out everyday. although at work i tend to wear my glasses more so that i don't have to obey PPE rules
