Hey your success seriously inspires me! Not to mention your killer attitude! First and foremost, keep it up! You're amazing!

Secondly, would you mind sharing what you're doing? From what I've read, we seem pretty similar (I could be wrong) and I'm trying to make a forever change.

Awww! Thanks! :) I am definitely going to keep it up this year. I want to lose 40 more, and then see if I want to go further, or if my body is ready to stop. :)

I am doing Atkins. I always listened to the naysayers before, and didn't do ANY research on how it works, and the science behind it, so this time, at a Dr's recommendation, I tried it. I LOVE IT. It's got to be the best way of eating I've ever had. For me, it's easy. I just made the decision to get rid of the stuff I am not supposed to eat, and really, haven't missed it all that much. I went cold turkey on sugar & most carbs - except for the ones found in many vegetables. You can have a TON of veggies on Atkins, so the old "Oh, is that the diet where you only eat bacon..." is so not true.

I've never eaten so much fresh green vegetables and non-processed foods. :) I feel better too. All the time.

We do eat a LOT of bacon on our version of the low-carb thang. :) But then, it's easy "we just staggered out of bed and our brains haven't followed yet" food. :)

LOL! Well, I eat bacon every day in an omlette, but you know the stereotype that low carb way of eating gets...LOL! :)
