weight loss stuff...

It's strange to me how many people will only focus on what they cannot have.

"Oh GAWD, I'm not going to make it...I can't have xyz to eat". That's never the way to get through anything. It shouldn't be about what you can't have, but what you can. Sure, I cut out the sweets and a good portion of carbs, including bread, potatoes and pasta, but in turn, I get to eat REAL GOOD WHOLE FOOD. No processed crap. No more meal in a box made with so much preservatives and sodium they don't even taste like real food anymore. I get REAL portions, and I can have food with flavor.

Also, my ass is smaller, my stomach is smaller, EVERYTHING is smaller. I've lost over 40 lbs, and from a 24 to a 16. Seems to me I am not missing out on a damn thing. :)

I didn't get to have my "official" weigh in on Saturday, so I am looking forward to this coming Saturday. It will be 4 months. I will weigh in, and also take measurements. Oh yes. :) I like to see the progress in numbers.
