Oh, this is overdue. A ways from the Mansion, around the edge of the lake, the bare skeleton of a new house has gone up. It's built off of and beyond some existing framework, lost now in the new structure; it's of a quite respectable size; it's got an Elf on the roof. Or what will be the roof, the reason being: he's in the process of constructing

He's most definitely not a Finwëan but he is a hobbit with the beginnings of an elf obsession. Humor him, Maedhros while he stands and looks at you.

There's no better place for getting one's elf obsession on. Eventually the elf in question spots him, and sends a wave downwards. "Hello there."

Bilbo waves back a little self consciously. "Hello."

"Hello--" he smiles suddenly "--Sir Hobbit! The Periannath are a rare sight here these days."

Having been invited several days before, Armand does eventually find the place. "Oh, this is where you've hidden it!"

"Hello, Armand! Was it that hard to find?"

"I got turned around is all. You didn't begin from scratch, I see." He's dressed to work, and grinning cheerfully.

"No, the ruins out here are as convenient as everything else." He smiles at Armand. "Come to help?"

Findarato has taken to going on long, rambling walks again (though not near that tree...), and when he spotted the house frame he went in that direction to get a closer look. Now he stands at the base, grinning up at his cousin. "Hello!"

This cousin gets a grin back down. "Fancy seeing you out here."

Finrod looks amused. "I suppose asking what you're doing would be rather pointless, but why are you on top of an unfinished roof alone?"
