I dreamt about Tombstone last night. The 1993 movie with Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp and Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday. I'm... Doc, I think? Amusingly, given that you haven't seen the movie, your dream very nearly does happen! Substitute tuberculosis for the bullet and change the end a (sad) bit and yup, that's how it goes.

The movie is incredibly slashy before that point, too. I own it, I think, and I <3 it very much.

I approve of Val Kilmer in your dreams. Strangely enough, I also approve of this slashtastic dream, despite never having given serious thought to the pairing. I know this is bizarre, because I've seen Tombstone a bunch but was too busy perving over Val.

That film is great fun! I was so into Doc Holiday as a young lass. Oooh-boy, was I ever! I didn't have slash goggles yet, so I missed that bit, but it's TOTALLY there for your enjoyment. And, as above commenter says, there is a scene remarkably similar in tone to your dream. :)

Amusingly enough, the Tombstone fic i wrote lo these many years ago was my first non-wrestling piece. i have loved the movie ever since i first saw it in the theatre (yeah, i saw it something like 10 times - twice at full price and then later at the dollar cinema).
