She had known that her time in Mystic Falls would not be easy. After all, she and Klaus were going to sacrifice some people. Of course there was going to be a push back from the protectors of the doppelganger. Plus after she broke the curse, there would be backlash from all factions of the supernatural community: witches and warlocks would try to ( Read more... )

OMG Yo OMG!

might want to fix this: He had not accepted it the twentieth time, so she should have tried a twenty-second, a twenty-third, and then a twenty-third time.

Oh Greta don't think that way! :(

This story got me thinking. Remember what Jonas did to Bonnie after she used her powers on Luka? I was thinking maybe that's why Greta ran away. Maybe if/when Greta stepped out of line magically or whatever Jonas took her powers away. Why else would Jonas come to use that spell in Bonnie and have it so easily on hand? It was like reaching in your pocket for a coin you know is already there.

I mean, working with a vampire who wants you to use your powers seems pretty appealing then, given the history between vampires and witches and it's another thing for Greta to throw in her fathers face, if she's the rebellious type.

Do Klaus and Elijah have last names?

Sorry for that. I'm so glad you wrote this! Love the visuals i got with your writing.

Oh crap. Thanks, Cana! I didn't even catch that on the re-read.

That's an interesting premise, that Jonas would use that as some kind of punishment whenever the kids stepped out of line. Because you're right that it seemed like something he was used to doing.

I'm thinking of writing another fic that explores their beginning. It wasn't at all a working relationship.

I think Elijah said his last name was Smith, at one point. Who knows if that's the truth. Lol. But there's a big fan of Elijah's named Jessica, and she always tags him as Elijah Smith.

Don't apologize! Thank you for reading, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Wow. Just wow. I totally didn't expect this. A Bonnie-centric story, yes? Greta-centric? No. It still doesn't change my disgust for her character, but you did a smashing job at humanizing her. Your writing ain't too shabby either. :) Four stars and I want more!

Lol, thanks! The hate she's getting is kind of baffling to me, and it's kind of making me stan for her.
