I'm glad you had a bland productive day, and the siblings argument/conversation scene was much fun. (I'm including F there: so the sibs are the 3 of them.) I read it slow and very happily. And I was right: as soon as I knew what the arguement was about, I went *of course!!*
I have to go look up a Lance Armstrong article. It's the only sports think I've vaguely kept track of for years. Last summer we had a visitor who's a bikist and he wanted to pause the gossip for 1 or 2 hrs while watched a report on one of the mountain sections. So the one and only time I've watched sports bicycling I had an expert guide to point out stuff. Fun!
It was wonderful to watch some of the cyclists go up the Alpe D'Huez. The strength and stamina needed is amazing! Therefore, it was all the more electrifying to see Lance sweep aside the competition so convincingly.
I think he's made his point strongly and hope he can be inspired to try some other challenges in cycling, just to measure himself against the naysayers who say that he is a one-race man.
