There was this stupid bitch on blogging.la a few years back that claimed that jacaranda was pronouned ha-ca-ran-da. Since it's Portugese in origin, it's actually pronounced zha-ca-ran-da making the way whiteys pronounced it okay.
But I'll just say that despite pronunciation guidelines, Los Feliz will always be Los FEE-liz and Palos Verdes will be Palos Ver-dees. And don't get me started on Sepulveda. Blah.
Plus anyhow all whiteys, brownies, blackies and people in between always get the Korean language wrong. So whatever.
thats not always true. when some hispanics say my name, they pronounce it "Yennifer"... or "Yennifed" in a way. mexican spanish isnt the same as cuban spanish, puerto rican spanish, columbian spanish or spanish spanish.
