dear white people,

when you see a "J" in a spanish word, it doesn't sound like a "w," it sounds more like an "h."
for example: the name Juan should not sound like "won" it should sound like "Huan." (not to be confused with our azn brother Hu-anh) and Tijuana is not "tia-wanna," it's "tihuana."

it's still beyond me why you'll pronounce Jose right but still say "won" for Juan.
and for the record, the reason why the drive-up cashier at the Jack-in-the-Box says "jooo wanna yumbo yack" it's cos the letters always have the same sound whereas in english they change around like crazy. spanish is a simple, phonetic language.
