Somehow I managed to forget that yesterday was Pie day, only receiving my reminder email about it this morning. I believe I'll make Pumpkin Pie(because we went ahead and skipped celebrating American Thanksgiving this year, I still have a big can) today. And Violent Soup to use up my squishes and beats (and some chiles and taters). And muffins

Alton Brown is a dangerous man. The gyro episode of Good Eats ("My Big Fat Greek Sandwich") inspired me and my roommate to make plans to build a MacGyver rotisserie. I don't even eat meat!
