Somehow I managed to forget that yesterday was Pie day, only receiving my reminder email about it this morning. I believe I'll make Pumpkin Pie(because we went ahead and skipped celebrating American Thanksgiving this year, I still have a big can) today. And Violent Soup to use up my squishes and beats (and some chiles and taters). And muffins because Alton Brown inspired me yesterday to actually buy some buttermilk. So, uh, it's a good thing we'll have guests tonight, who might be willing to eat.
