The first time I took my Abracadabra to get clipped short, they cut her tail short except for the last few inches, so it looked like a tortoiseshell asparagus stalk. They also didn't taper her face, so she looked like a lion. Poor thing. She was not pleased.

I liked it so much more when we found a groomer that tapered the head to the body, and trimmed the tail fur shorter (but not as short as the body fur). They also scissored her "fairy feet" (long, curly fur poking out between her toes and footpad), which was nice, because apparently it tickled her to walk on them. I thought she was just dancing, before. :)
