We're a TV free household. We own one, for - occasionally - watching DVDs on, but that's it. And I don't miss it at all.

I haven't watched TV for years. The X-Files was my last series. I just don't get much of a thrill from watching stuff any more.

Not exactly a 'young' Raymond Burr - he was 50 at the time - which is why it worked, the Nero Wolf cerebral detective model, rather than a young and handsome detective who can still 'kickass' despite the wheelchair. It was brought to us by the same gang who make Hawaii5O such a challenge to due process nearly every week (I admit it, I watch it for the pretty, but I'm easy) and I'm glad they put it out of our misery; Blair Underwood deserves better.

Dump TV. That's what I did and it has improved my life, outlook and mood 100%. When I actually thought about what I was getting for my money, I realized I had been crazy to shell out for that crap. Now, I wait until DVDs come out for my favorites shows, or I watch Netflix, or for, example, CASTLE, I watch it on the network web site. You do have ads there, but I can mute them, and I'm not paying through the nose to see the 0.0001% of the programming that's watchable.
