Thank you. My favorite time, and must be good for riding too?
As a kid I read every riding book our small library had. I wanted to learn jumping believe it or not when I was a sprout, and of course drew horses.. We're close to Saratoga, so it's horse country even though I've only been once to the track and that was this year.
They do. I think some of ours must be volunteers. We've some phlox along the trail which I am pretty sure is, and then there's the apple trees. Maybe farmland. But, they built the track over an old railroad, and I like to think it was people throwing their apple cores out the train windows from box lunchs. (I may have read a few too many Bobbsey Twin books as a kid.)
The thing I really have my eye on are hips from two pink wild roses. The white is what you always see and I am thinking these may be bee-crossed seedlings. Smiles. Not yet gotten seeds germinated but ever hopeful.
(hugs) He not got Mr B's presence.. but then neither do I! and he's a lover and with his own charms. I think he's going to do very well with us.
The separation was hard on him this am. Poor floof.. this is a lot of change.
But Chris's network went down today, and he came home and hung out while I was at work and that was good for both of them. Benni came home too.. so all was well.
Hope your night was too. Were you teaching tonight? Do email your schedule whne you get a chance? It hasn't calmed yet even though Fall is here and I admit the thistle head remains sievelike on the scheduley things...

I love autumn too. It's so sharp and fresh, and still warm enough to be able to be outdoors a lot..

Our asters are starting too, mostly the tiny, tiny white ones that look like foam from a little distance.
