Today's footnote of the day comes from the Cambridge Shakespeare in Performance edition of Henry V -- this is a fantastic series in which the footnotes, instead of explaining what the text means, refer to performance choices made by certain productions. I highly recommend them, especially to all the dramaturgy people on my flist ( Read more... )

Oh, so true, so true! Star Trek COULD be so wonderful!
Everything I needed to know I learned from watching Star Trek... yeh, I have that book, and I religiously avoid wearing red shirts.

I own and love the AMND edition in this series, which is so useful for teaching my Theatre Studies students. Oh dear - I am clearly going to have to buy more of these. And there's a bookshop right across the road from Shakespeare.s Birthplace which sells them all. Bang goes my book budget for the foreseeable future...

Heh, I just got a bunch of them cheaply on Amazon Marketplace -- which is great because normally they are damn expensive. I'm not sure what your options in the UK are though!
