I second (third?) that sentiment. In Shakespeare's play, Edgar starts out as a manipulated, gullible, naive person who can't compare with the cojones of his bastard brother. But once he's out in exile, taking on alternative identities in order to care for the king and avenge the injustices done to his father, he becomes powerful. But his speech here is so very sad! It strikes to the heart.
