My car mishaps continue. Today we went to a yet another school visit, this time taking G. with us for his very first “interview.” We were barely on time, parked, and were trying to get to school in a rush. Igor noticed that my car doors weren’t locking. We went around trying to close all the doors. Still no door locking clicking sound.

You must had gotten that warning, since it is made by the inside chirper, not the outside one (I think).

we'll have to test it, but I think it's the same chirper for both. At least leaving the car on has been a much more frequent problem in the last half a year than before (maybe I'm imagining it).

наше интервью прошло хорошо; про Гошино интервью вроде тоже неплохо, но что там точно они делали, я не знаю :)

ты знаешь, у меня толком не было времени с ним поговорить, плюс было видно, что он уже все - выложился, и хочет, чтоб от него отстали. Он был как бы немного заморожен/грустен (но не то, чтоб грустил -- я так понимаю, что эмоционально устал, что ли)

это особенность большинства приусов, что ключ никуда и вставлять никогда не надо -- он всегда у меня в сумочке лежит. Так что естественно я могу с ним выйти из машины.

I have to say, this is not the first time I try to lock a running car. This is the first time both of us failed to notice the fact that it was on :)

yes, and it even had a laptop in it. But I was very security-conscious: I covered the bag with my jacket :) :)

(oh, and there was a GPS, which was also turned on!)
