I certainly have his narrow eyes that look even narrower when we smile. I used to think that means we have some asian (maybe mongolian?) heritage in us, but 23andme tells me I'm 99% ashkenazi jewish :).
He loved me so very much, and it was very mutual. Up until recently I didn't even realize how unusual it was to have this absolute confidence of unconditional and eternal love from someone, like I had from my grandfather (and other family members, but with him especially).

I've been thinking recently about how I'd hope to be remembered after I die, and I realized that if my family remembers me as someone who was loving, kind, funny, and positively affected their lives (at least a little), that would be all I could ask for.
