abortion access and gay marriage are IRRETRIEVABLE at this point. in fact too much power is given to teh states in that regard, and they wind up with ridiculous measures that are successful in cutting access to BOTH.

you see, states are more evil than feds, usually. and more corrupt.

i am for NATO reform. it is an overrated and useless, biased organization. but getting rid of it entirely would n not be right or possible. so, getting fair money out of participant states is a start - or they are out.

and why should Ukraine give a f&ck about what Russia thinks on its' integration with Europe? Isn't Ukraine an independent state which cam decide itself on what's right and what's wrong for its future

Who peed in your cereal? Of course, Ukraine can do whatever it wants. In fact, I suspect that with de facto loss of Crimea and perhaps some eastern regions, the politics of Ukraine will be much more pro-EU. And that's good. I do suspect that EU will not invite a new member with unresolved border disputes and/or (manufactured) civil war in progress. Which is why it is in Putin's interest to keep the mess going.

hmm.... you may have a point there. Although.... I don't know, it still smells bad to me. Maybe if they can get truly massive concessions from Russia that are realistic enough to matter, maybe then...

the problem is - borders DO GET RE-DESIGNED.. some by force. The USSR was a sick creation to begin with, a totalitarian state not unlike Mao's China, a multiethnic monster with a "titualr" russian-ukranian-belorussian ethnicity superior to all others, and the "republics" carved more or less arbitrarily by Stalin and other evil leaders

Those two things are not related at all. It could succeed just fine while keeping the current nationalistic rhetoric if only it could curb corruption and stimulate fair courts and fair business practices.

A lot of us do, for many different reasons. But I think there comes a time to put down our grudges (just not against Russia... :)) yet.) and to hope for "svetloe budushhee" for them.

OH I AM HOPING and wishing them well, despite my grudges! but the grudes will be there, until they bury their "heros" for good and make amends, like Germany while back, and Lithuania recently did.

Those two things are related: nationalist rhetoric для укр.политиков это способ заболтать их неспособность и нежелание реформировать страну.

No she does not. Crimea as part of Russia is not economically viable. Unless Ukraine is part of Russia's "circle of influence" and economically and politically integrated with Russia to the point that the borders do not matter.

В вашем аргументе внутреннее противоречие. Та сферическая в вакууме Россия, с которой можно было бы договориться, не стала бы аннексировать Крым in the first place. Россия же, данная нам в ощущениях, договоры win-win не понимает и не умеет.

Никакого противоречия.

Россия конечно во многом плоха, но не стоит впадать в неадекват и считать её карикатурным абсолютным злом.

Россия вполне способна договориться о поставках и газа и нефти и электричества и много чего еще, со многими странами, и даже с Ukraine и даже после 2014 (по транзиту газа через Ukraine бывали иногда скандалы; но быстро решались; с другими странами ни с поставками газа ни прочего скандалов не было).

Присоединюсь, что ли по внешеполитической части, хотя и не френд а значите если скачусь, то.. Классическое, между прочим, - что иксу здорово, то игреку сплошная потеря аппетита... и пока что. судя по обустройству кабинета, терять аппетит придется скорее нам...

По остальной части Вы скорее написаали, что не будет, чем что будет плохо-хорошо.
