Angel grunted as he found himself on the floor on his back, the unneeded wind knocked out of him. He was momentarily dazed, and in the few seconds it took him to regain his bearings, Buffy had taken advantage and pinned him to the floor. Her agression surprised him for a second, and he had to remind himself she was a sexually aware woman, not a naive schoolgirl ( ... )

"We should be getting clean," he murmured; he didn't stop his ministrations, though. He reached up to cup her breast, lightly rubbing his thumb along the underside, while his other hand slid ever lower. He skirted around the sensitive bundle of nerves at the top her sex, massaging all around the juncture of her thighs.

He started trailing sucking and biting kisses along her neck. He couldn't get enough of her, the taste and smell of her was intoxicating.

"You're so beautiful," he whispered, finally slipping a finger inside her at the same moment he pressed his thumb against her clit.

"We are getting cl--," Those were all the words that she could get out. He could have touched her anywhere, and she might have had the same reaction, but the second she felt his finger inside her and his thumb...she couldn't speak. It was taking her enough concentration to keep standing up.

She moved her hands from the back of his neck to bracing herself on either side of the shower, careful enough not to push with her slayer strength completely through the walls. She had a feeling though, that she wouldn't really be caring about the current condition of the bathroom in a few seconds.

More than two hundred years of experience must do that to you.

Angel kept his movements slow and leisurely, enjoying Buffy's pleasure. He stroked her chest, from throat to torso, just letting his hand roam over her body, caressing and learning her curves all over again.

After a few minutes, he added a second finger, curling them inside her until he got the reaction he was looking for.

She lost it, again. He was being so sensual, and she was just helpless to his touch. He always had that effect on her though, even before they were even sexually active, all those years ago. She could never get enough of him. She had clamped her hands into fists at this time, her heart beating at an erratic pace. She was gasping, and mouthing inaudible words.

When finally she released again, she honestly couldn't think things could get much better, she literally wanted to collapse in the shower and take a nice long needed nap. She wanted to say 'I love you' again and again to him, because that was just how she felt. Her heart was exploding for him...She just couldn't figure out how in the hell she got so lucky.

After she had caught her breath, she grabbed the soap, and ran it down her body before turning to him and doing the same.

Angel had to bite his lip as she turned and began cleaning him off. He couldn't help but chuckle, grabbing her wrist lightly and taking the soap as her hand started to roam lower. "You'd better let me do that," he quipped, "or we'll never get out of this shower."

He leaned forward and pecked her on the lips, then kissed the tip of her nose. "As cute as I bet you are with wrinkled fingers..."

He stopped for a moment, just staring at her. It was dawning on him, this was their relationship. He'd been focusing on the physical aspect, but here was the other side of it - the intimacy, both physical and emotional.

"I love you," he said softly.

"Thirty years from now, you won't think wrinkles are cute." She didn't mean that as anything other than what it was ,so she kissed him in the lips after that, too. She was far to happy to think about old age, and sagginess and all that.

She just looked at him, when he said he loved her. A smile crept on her face. "I love you too, Angel. I've always loved you." It was true. They had both tried to move on, but she'd be remiss if she said that she never thought about him all those years. She'd dreamed about him more than she had cared to count at the time.

She moved close to him, and just hugged him. She put her face in his chest, and kissed him, before laying her cheek there.

Angel had to swallow at her reminder of her mortality, but said honestly, "I look forward to seeing you in thirty years - and every day in between."

She hugged him, and Angel brought his hand up to stroke her hair, and rested his chin on top of her head. She fit against him perfectly, just as she always had.

Loathe as he was to end this moment, he also knew they couldn't stand in the shower forever... as much fun as that might be. He squeezed his arms around her, then slowly released her, letting his hands trail along her back and arms as he pulled away.

"Come on," he said briskly. "Let's get dried off, so we can..." He really didn't know what they'd do, although given their recent activities... He smiled sardonically. "Well, probably get dirty again." He kissed her forehead. "Maybe next time we'll try the bath."

Sh quickly washed her hair and did a few other things in the shower before she got out with him and put on the robe that was complimentary from the hotel. She honestly didn't even know what time it was; all she knew was that she was exhausted from all the wonderful happiness. She couldn't bring herself to say "Too much," but she was beginning to think that maybe everything was too good to be true ( ... )

Angel grabbed a towel and dried off, then ended up just wrapping the towel around his waist. The room was reserved for one, so only one robe had been left - the first sign of fallability the hotel staff had shown yet ( ... )

Food did sound good. She was going to need reminding of eating...cause eating just sounded like something she didn't need with Angel around? It was complicated. She just didn't realize she was hungry until he mentioned it ( ... )

While Buffy answered the phone and spoke to Giles, Angel went to put on some pants. He grabbed a container of blood from the mini-fridge and poured it into a coffee mug before heating it up in the microwave.

He was just removing the mug when Buffy exited the bedroom. He didn't feel nearly as self-conscious drinking in front of her now as he had in the stairwell, partly because he wasn't so desperate, and also because it was a little less obvious just what he was sipping, now. He'd gotten used to drinking around his friends years ago, and they'd treated it as so commonplace, it had been impossible to really feel ashamed of it.

He grabbed a spoon and stirred the thick substance a little, making sure it was evenly heated throughout. He leaned against the counter, completely relaxed. He forgot how relaxed you could get after sex.

"I didn't know what you'd want to eat, or I would have ordered you something." Hmm, he'd have to learn what kind of food she liked.

Again, smiling was something that she just couldn't help but do. He was drinking his blood in a coffee cup. Like one would drink coffee in the morning.

"Giles just wanted to see if I was alive. That was the right address, so I'm thinking that maybe I should go out during the day and see if there's anything I can find that can lead me anywhere else. He seems to think it's really not a dead end, like we do."

She leaned next to him, really starting to get tired now. He mentioned about food, and she got hungry again. If he hadn't mentioned it, she probably would have been able to sleep before eating. that was out of the question now.

"I want breakfast. Toast and a breakfast sandwich. I saw it on the menu last night."

After that confession, the order was put in pronto. Happy, hungry, tired. In that order. She let out a huge yawn, and put her head against his shoulder. Well, close enough to his shoulder as she could get. He was still really tall for her.

Angel digested the news that Giles still thought there was something out there. It was possible, he supposed. He had to admit, they'd both been a little... distracted, with each other.

"You might try looking around inside again. Look for any trap doors, secret passages... sewer access. They may have some hidden area under the main floor, and that's why it looked uninhabited." He should have thought of that earlier.

He wished he could go with her... but given the fact that they hadn't done as thorough a job together as they could have in the first place, maybe her going alone would be better. She'd be more focused on the job, and less on him.

Buffy leaned her head on his shoulder, and Angel wrapped his arm around her waist. "Are you gonna last 'til your food gets here?" he asked teasingly.

"Oh don't you worry, I'll make it. I was just...relishing for a moment." Which was mostly true. Yeah, she was freaking exhausted. But that wasn't what she was thinking about with her head on his shoulder. Touching him? There were never going to be thoughts of sleep for her ( ... )

Hindsight was always twenty/twenty, and at least Buffy also realized they'd done something wrong. He sighed and emptied his mug. "No, we were a little too focused on... other things." He couldn't help but smirk a little at the memory of some of those 'other things.' "And as enjoyable as they were... Hopefully we've gotten-- well, not over it, but, released enough tension we'll be able to do a better job, next time?" He wouldn't want to put money on it, though - it would probably take a while for the lust and sexual tension to die down even a little between them ( ... )
