I was just about to ask for Kincaid ties too... :/

Its likely a better than 50% chance that she'll be around for at least a while after reset, if only to tie up loose ends and avoid an abrupt truncation of interactions with other people.
And who knows, I may love the retooling with her and it may actually revitalize some of my apathy.

Feel free to hit me up next time you see me online, or we could toss about ideas over email. :)

Don't know if I'll get anything I'm going for, but I'm going to try and still stick with the concept I've got.

Email is likely best. I'm not going to be on IRC again until next monday at the earliest likely.

Dissatisfied

Indeed I am.
I am just remarkably zen about my dissatisfaction.
The nightmare of YoF for me may explain why other than little surges, I (who loathe change) am remarkably phelgmatic. Other than agitating my ulcer, I don't see what screaming will do for me.

*hugs*

I am not so worried about reseting. Its fine. i'm more worried about ongoing crap in this club that is not changing, and that i want to bang some heads. but that wont be looked on well.

So... if anything drives me out, its going to be bullies.

While there are other things that need to change, it is possible this will lead to some of those changes. We've got to start somewhere.

I wouldn't say we jumped the shark so much as I would say that the Fonz has achieved Low Earth Orbit.

It sucks. I'm used to suck. Ergo, I'm dealing with it.

Yet.
We haven't yet.
I'm waiting to see what sort of plot pushes this.
I'd accept the Great Lords of Mars, so long as it was done in a fashion that fit the rest of the chronicle we've had. *shrug*

Screw the Great Lords of Mars. I'm casting my vote for Booji.

That's fair... and it's going to affect each of us, with our own histories and approvals, differently.

I can't make myself angry about it either.
I'm just glad it's not a hard reset.

I'm a 'yank the damned bandaid off now!' kinda girl.
If we have to have a reset, I would prefer a hard one.
But then I have like a dozen character concepts I haven't had the chance to play yet, and given my run with Kincaid, I'm in the minority it seems who are 'shrug and move on' about the idea of a hard.

This seems, as I said elsewhere, like a Solomon's bluff being called while splitting the baby. I know there are reasons for it (some of which I can even speculate upon if you consider say, the life cycle of publishing) but soft or hard, its dissatisfying but either way, pretty much not worth the fuss. I have an ulcer, no need to get it all upset with me over my happy fun pretendy time hobby.

I think that actually sums it up for my personality and why I prefer a hard reset as well.

Yank the damned bandaid off now!

That's just about it, entirely.

For me it's less 'yank the band aid' and more 'put the poor thing out of it's misery'.

Its extra tempting now.
But its just not quite her style.
She's got too many problems with authority. :)

Well, if you dump Kincaid.. and make a new PC... the Legio wants you!

VAE VICTIS!

Tempting. If I drop Kincaid (or, unlike every PC I had during YOF that I had to retire to ST instead of get an ending for, if she gets a suitable ending) it won't be a COI, but since I'm still iffy on that, no promises.
