Ah, yes, I've wondered that myself. Personally, I think that Helen's still kind of in denial over the whole issue of John being the Ripper. She knows something is wrong, knows that what the others are implying is quite possibly true, but doesn't want to believe it. So, in order to prove them wrong and put her own doubts to rest, she goes looking for John. Only, she doesn't find him. She's able to get into his home -- Helen's sneaky like that -- and starts searching for him top to bottom ( ... )

So - cares we travail to content us has to be my favorite of your fics. :)

Firstly - are you going to do a sequel based on ESB? Because that would be ftw. :D It's my favorite of the films and I'd love to know what you'd have done with it.

Secondly - and less shalowly - one of the things I most liked about it was that it wasn't your normal sort of fusion wherein the characters are just shoehorned into the roles of Star Wars characters (I remember trying to explain it to a friend and being all 'well, Arthur is Luke, but Morgause is Luke too, and so is Merlin, but he's also kind of Chewbacca...). It really was equally using elements of each canon, which looks like something that would be really tricky to work out the logistics of - I guess I'm just asking how the planning stage went/were there like a hundred different versions like the original Star Wars. xD

Arthur/Morgana fics tend not to get much of a response, I've noticed. Not sure a common pairing. And I admit I don't like it all that much myself, so I was pleasantly surprised when your fic wasn't that shippy.

Yeah, I was a little concerned about the lightness of the ship, given what the story was originally written for, but I wouldn't change how it played out for the world. Of course, should I ever get around to writing a sequel, the Morgana/Arthur ship would get to go a bit deeper.

HEE! I know! I was pleasantly surprised by how attached I got to this pairing once it started taking form. :D
