Random Thoughts....

  • First thing this morning, a supervisor placed a work order (e.g., meaning something is wrong or broken) because a worker in another department was answering the phone in the empty cube next to her. Instead of letting the phone ring and ring, she answered it. To the supervisor calling, that was a problem.
  • Yes, I have a headache after that.

Okay, first: accept that you probably look better in a lot of clothes than you think. So, whatever Fran says, trust Fran. Fran will not lead you wrong.

I'm so glad the shower was a blast. And you're a good Mom/MIL to buy something for them and NOT the baby only. Happy parents make for happy baby.

When the fuck is Daylight Savings Time?

ok your work just raised the level of stupid to new heights. NOW I have a headache.
lol

I went to something sort of like that, they called it an Autograph "show" back then, not anything as fancy as a "Signature" convention. LOL Actually it was kind of neat, set up like a dealer room with some celebs, no panel discussion. Sci-fi mostly I think, although autographs ranged from celebs, to sports figures, to politicians (sp?). I actually bought a George C. Wallace, along with a quote about Nixion from him during his bid for the office of President. Me, I got my stuffed Gorn signed, and Robin Curtis (Lt. Saavik replacing Kirstie Alley for Movie, The Journey Home TOS) who was so sweet in person. Is this event sponsored by the UACC?

Burn Notice is So awesome.

Because doing so would be naughty and wrong.

Yesterday was okay for me. This morning, Pat stopped by. When I told him I gave blood on the weekend, he went into this whole Red Cross conspiracy thing. Every day is Stupid Day for Pat.

Imagine Pat times four hundred.

Yes, I'm crying.

There's a Red Cross conspiracy?

Reply

lindas_hell March 3 2009, 14:08:07 UTC
yes! Apparently the Red Cross has tons of money from charging people for blood. They'll charge $400 for a pint of blood, depending on what blood you need. Guess what? It's not true. The charge hospitals for blood, but the charge is based on the cost of the processing and distributing of the blood. It's nowhere near $400.

I'm going to regret asking this: what does Pat think the Red Cross is doing with its millions made from its blood proceeds? Helping out devistated areas? People in need?
