so today i realized that i have really awesome, attractive friends. okay fine, i always knew that. but i just saw all these pictures and i felt like sharing =)

yesterday i went home because sky, the dog i have had since i picked her out of a litter at age 10, was very sick. we took her to the vet, and found out she had cancer, and we had to put her to sleep. it was one of the saddest days my family has had in a long time, and we all cried all day because she was the best friend we could have possibly ( Read more... )

i was on the phone with my dad but our conversation got cut short due to the commencement of my class. so i texted him, just to wrap up what we were talking about, and said "dori is so out of her mind." and he responded with "true that." after class i called him and told him that message made me laugh, because since when does he say true that? this morning i got an email from ucdavis summer abroad program with a big Congratulations! on top.
basically this means i'll be living in Paris for half the summer.
im probably the happiest person in the world right now
