Read RTD's interview with "The Writer's Tale" and felt the need to rant... sorry everyone:

If you don't like TenII or Rose or whatnot, turn back now this mostly has to do with them, it might be humorous though, so stick around if you're not positive.

Eh, I don't hate Ten2, I just can't accept his as her Doctor. She fell in love with a Time lord, one with 2 hearts. Ten2 will never be that man. He's part human, part Donna ( ... )

Don't be sorry for ranting, that's what I posted this for. In fact, that's what I feel Livejournal is for... fanfiction and rants about stuff...

(note from author: this rant was just based on cannon, what I would prefer to happen is a completely different rant. Although, saying that I feel the need to mention that RTD was originally hoping to get Billie Piper to stay on with the show for the specials and have Rose all the way up until the End of Time.(hehe, pun) So in that cannon the metacrisis never would have happened, but alas... )

Sure they can go off, grow another TARDIS, have babies and do all of that, but how do you do that knowing that all the while the man you love is in another world pining after you day in day out. That would break my heart.

The thing with Ten2 fic, and it shits me no end is that they have Ten2 say he is the same man, same memories,still loves Rose, but then he calls himself John Noble and goes off to 'find himself'You know... I honestly never quite picked up on it that way, but you are ( ... )

Yeah, I can't say I understand that either... if you're not going to write canon, then don't, no one will fault you for it. (well they might, but they'd be in the wrong) As for Moffat, perhaps he'll be better now that he's running the show? (that's a big maybe)

Marriage is the one thing I'm iffy on. Union - absolutely, traditional human union - only for Rose, but then, she's not really conventional herself. I prfer to call it a bond, or union of sorts.

Yeah, marriage in a traditional human sense, meh, I have a hard time buying it unless done very well... and I have seen it done very well. Bond/Union/timelord mind-trick thing... that's always seemed a bit more... Doctor-y. (oh, look he's become an adjective...)

I honestly do have a hard time with the TenII being a stand in thing... but I'd still prefer that to Rose going back to the alternate universe alone... if we're sticking with canon.
