We have the exact same feelings re: Hulk and Mark Ruffalo in this movie. Also, I'm on count #3 of seeing it, too, and will probably see it at least one more time.
Also I LOVE the nerve simile, because of the unprotectedness of the state, and also because if a nerve is stimulated enough an action potential (and therefore a reaction) will be created. The reaction is not greater or lesser based on how strong the stimulus is, once it passes a threshold, the action potential is unleashed and can't be stopped.
With the note in the beginning you read my mind completely. I wasn't particulary excited about Hulk before the movie but yet choosing Mark Ruffalo promised to be interesting (either very bad or very good - it turned out to be very awesome :D) because Ruffalo really pulled it off. The nerdy scientist turned into the Hulk + epic bromance with the other science nerd. hahaha
SCIENCE BROS :'D One of my favourite parts of the movie, ngl. I just love how well he showed all of Banner's suffering and anger without resorting to that anguished face Norton pulled for most of the second Hulk movie. Ruffalo > every other Bruce Banner ever *___*

I'm so glad he won me over. I heard he signed on for multiple movies so I really look forward to seeing him as Bruce again.

/Bio nerding. Apologies. Anyway, I'm snagging, thanks!
