I'm so excited to finally see the RBB epic posted \o/ Yay :D And OMG, yes, do finish the presumed dead fic because, you know, epic story I'm dying to read and also cover waiting and all :P Heee :D

Also, *throws confetti for Neal Hughes* That is another one I really want to read.

Awww, I feel spoiled with all this awesomeness coming up :D

Why does my company never pay for any of my trips? *pouts*

The RBB post is going to be awesome - I'm so excited to show off your amazing art!

The presumed dead fic is definitely on the agenda - it needs about 1k-2k of writing, depending upon how long-winded I get. LOL

*dances in the confetti* I'm so happy to have a complete draft, though I know it needs a lot of work and a much better ending. There's an epilogue that I'd like to write but I haven't quite figured out the dynamics of it yet.

*hugs* My company usually pays for my flights out to LA because they are always for work, but this one is mostly pleasure. It was a total surprise when they offered to pay for it.

Regarding school, FWIW I have a friend who's 40 or 41 who's gone back to school part-time, and she's also taking off the summer semester due to having trouble with focusing and motivating herself, etc. *hugs*

That is very comforting to hear actually. I feel like there is a lot of pressure being placed on me to succeed and do well in school and have the steady career - it's not at all the pressure that I had during my first go through college so it's weird. When I feel pressured like that I tend to retreat for fear of failure instead of pushing through and working hard to succeed.

*hugs back*

Yeah, you're far from a failure! This woman is, like you, very smart and I think it's not so much the difficulty of the work (she's taking community college classes right now, in some subjects similar to yours) but just school on top of working on top of life and being a grown-up. You can do it, but you absolutely deserve the summer "off" to regroup. *hugs*

*hugs back* Thank you! It's really hard to work full time (even from home) and then motivate yourself to study and all the stuff that comes with that. It's overwhelming a lot of the time. I do plan on taking the summer off just to get away from it for a bit.
