Awwww, I love this! Particularly how everyone was being gentle and careful of poor traumatised Neal. And I love traumatised Neal too, of course! :D

Thank you! I love traumatised Neal too, so I couldn't resist writing him as traumatised as possible :D So glad you enjoyed it!

this was lovely. thank you. I enjoyed the opening. Neal padding into the room, not 100%, but still willing to contribute.

Thank you so much! Neal always wants to be part of the action, I think, even when he also kind of wants to stay away (if that makes any sense). He can't help himself.

This is really lovely. And oh, poor Neal, ready to protect little Theo from danger. And the ending is sweet and hopeful and I love it.

P.S. The image of Neal asleep with a baby on his chest? Yes!!

Thank you! That is one of my fave mental images - Neal with a baby on his chest. I could write the hell out of it all day long, I think.

Awwww, this is so beautiful! Poor Neal *hugs him*

I love it how the breakthrough came so unexpected and that it was ultimately little Theo who helped Neal while Neal was trying to help Theo :D And Peter! Aww, Neal seeking comfort in Peter's arms is definitely my thing. My boys *happy sigh*

Beautiful. Thank you for sharing :D

Thank you!! The prompt really spoke to me, and I really liked the idea of little Theo being the one to break through Neal's walls. It's just such a wonderful idea.

Of course, then it had to be Peter that Neal sought comfort from. ;) That's what they do! :D
