should teachers be paid more than bankers?

I read with great interest an article in The Straits Times last week over my subway sandwich about how teachers should be paid more than bankers. Because after all, if not for teachers, we wouldn't have bankers or lawyers or doctors in the future.

My sentiment is that it is not about the dollar you take home. You wanna get rich? Be an entrepreneur,
