Give me a subject on RP -- anything from an incident to a pairing to character relationships -- I'll write you an essay about how my characters feel about that particular subject. A lot of things have been happening on both sides, so it would probably be beneficial to me as well |D

... Nooooooooooooooo Sanji just went D: in my headspace. Especially since that's the complete opposite of what he feels. To be honest, Sanji is eternally grateful that Chopper was the one to rebreak Nami's fingers, as it was not only necessary and with the best intentions, but because Sanji mentally froze in that one moment. Losing his crew mates regularly, seeing them returned in far worse shape, and then having to injury Nami before she could get better... Had he been in Chopper's position, I question whether he could have handled that pressure with his already dwindling mental health.
It's along the lines of what he told Usopp in Enies Lobby: "I'll do what you can't do, and you do want I can't do." Chopper did what Sanji might not have been able to do. He might be his little brother, but he is also a Straw Hat who can more than back himself up in his field and in battle. Sanji doesn't just ( ... )

I've always loved Chopper and Usopp's relationship. It's always full of so much fun and mushy goo and Chopper is such an excellent influence on Usopp and his negative thinking. Usopp does not want to see this little guy depressed, ever. Where Chopper is concerned, there's no such thing as not being able to say anything to make it a little better. He'll think of something positive, even if he doesn't really believe it-- he'll try to distract him or think of something to do, whatever it takes because he can't stand to see him heartbroken ( ... )

Senchou. Captain. A doctor's pain in the ass. Luffy is the one, true leader of the Strawhats, and the third person that Chopper utterly trusted with his entire heart. More than his heart - he knows no better place to set his life and dreams upon than Monkey D. Luffy, the man who will become Pirate King. And he will. There is absolutely no doubt in the little reindeer's mind that Pirate King is the position that Luffy is destined for. When Blackbeard showed up in Luceti and started claiming he would take the title? Chopper defended that. There is no one who will ever steal that away from Luffy as long as he draws breath.
Chopper's initial relationship with Luffy (and Sanji, in that same vein) has always fascinated me. Here we have this freak who climbed to the top of a goddamn vertical mountain carrying a girl on his back and some dude in his teeth. He's lying in the snow, no coat, frostbite covering his body.
