So, I've fallen into the pit of a television cop show that is the Hawaii Five-0 reboot. And, in the words of My Chemical Romance, I won't go down by myself.

I have maybe had, oh, a bit of practice. Getting people into my fandoms is my specialty, you know. :D I still hold that my best contribution to the Inception fandom is aredblush, after all. :D

What I'm saying here, okay, is H5-0 is like made for kid!fic! And undercover as boyfriends/married! Alll the fake boyfriend fic ever! Do you know how often they get shot at? The H/C this fandom could have just could not be measured without some sort of classy advanced mathematics, omg.

Basically the story I want most in the world right now is the one where Danny gets shot/some how injured on the job and his ex flips out, so he and Steve get married just to present a more stable environment when Rachel (the ex) takes his visitation/custody of his daughter back to court. And then they realize nothing has changed. Except Grace gets to hang out on the beach more. And Rachel is finally like, well, Jesus, it took you two long enough, okay, be by at 7 tomorrow, we're barbecuing for Gracie's birthday.

But no! No, no, I did not trawl your journal. That is just honestly the story that I want like a dog wants a bone. Like Eames wants Arthur. Like something else wants something else a whole hell of a lot. And, and, this show, this glorious, wonderful, ridiculous show, it just makes it so possible that I could weep tears of joy.

(True canon fact: Steve has, actually, stepped into custody disputes between Danny and Rachel before. Behind Danny's back. Because THEY ARE SO MARRIED. And he is very in love. And this show, it is glorious.)
