WOW!!!

What a grand finale to the first slam of the year! Rafa Nadal prevailing over Roger Federer in five sets in just over four hours! It was a cracking match.

I am so proud of Rafa for his guts and determination. Never giving up. He is both mentally and physically strong.

So I am sitting here watching the grand finale of the very first Grand Slam of 2009 - the Australian Open. It is between the world number one: Rafael Nadal and the world number two: Roger Federer.

It is the first time they have played each other in a slam final since that amazing epic at Wimbledon last year, where Rafa won 9-7 in the final set. A ( Read more... )
