Rick's Magic N' Stuff

The goo that Wes collected, definitely belonged to an Ethros demon. I didn't get my hands dirty, but I was there for support. Ryan was knocked out when we drove back to the office. Wes mentioned something about the demon using most of his energy. I felt bad for the kid. My brownies saved the day. Secretly, I knew Wes thought they were ( Read more... )

I had come from Caritas, back to the office that Angel called his place of business. I wasn't interested in seeing Angel, of course, and as I got closer, I noticed that the beautiful brunette had drove away and drove away fast in an SUV. She was alone, which, at night in this city, could be a problem if she got out of the vehicle. I was fast, but not fast enough to keep up with her in a car, and if Angel couldn't be there to look after her, then I was going to make it my mission to do just that. Running in jeans wasn't as easy as running in other attire, but I kept up with her directionals from the distance, thankful that she used turn signals. I ran harder ( ... )

"You are such a pretty little thing. Maybe I should make you mine?"

I shook my head. Oh God, he wanted to turn me into a vampire. This couldn't be happening to me! I tried to wiggle my way out, but his grip was too tight. I couldn't move at all. He moved closer into my space, smiling and sniffing. I closed my eyes tight.

"Maybe you should make her yours? "How old are you, mate?"

Ok, that wasn't creep-o vampire's voice. This was someone else. English voice, like Wesley, I think. I opened my eyes. I couldn't see him. Then, the vampire let me go, and turned to face the voice. My hand went to my neck. It was sore. I moved to the side to take a good look at the person who saved my life. It was a guy, alright. Tall, dark and handsome. I just hope he was here to actually save me.

The vampire wasn't very happy with his interruption. I, on the other hand, was very happy.

"You think that you can take me, little man?"As the vampire went closer to him, the guy grabbed him and punched him back toward the wall. I moved out ( ... )

The fight wasn't anything special. It was something that I had been doing for the last two months. In fact, this guy, I would have thought, would have tried extra-hard to kill me so that he could feast on her neck, but he was just as lame as most of the other vampires that I had seen around here.

Strangely, I didn't get any satisfaction about impressing the girl. I felt like I was showing off during the fight, and I was, but now, I just felt sort of piss about it. I didn't want to show off for her. I wanted to know her.

"Wh-Who are you? I know you're not human, so don't even think about lying to me. I deal with this sort of stuff every day, so just tell me the truth." "Yes, I know that you do. I even know the man that you work for. He's a lot like me, really. Except that I'm not really quite clear as to how Angelus went off and got himself a soul ( ... )

"Ha! I knew it! I knew...wait. H-How do you know I work for Angel? And, why did you call him Angelus? It's Angel. He's not Angelus, anymore." I crossed my arms over my chest. He knew a little too much about my business. "You still didn't answer my question. I mean, you know all of this stuff about me and Angel, but I know nothing about you. Who are you? You know, like a name or something?"

"I do a lot of the same things that Angel does around town. I'm really sorry that you were attacked. I'm...I'm glad that I was able to get here on time..."Boy was he right. He's stammering like a big lug, like Angel does. It was cute. I couldn't help it. I smiled. "What are you sorry for? It's not your fault I was attacked. I just happened to be here. It could have been anyone." I walked closer to him. "I am glad that you were able to get here ( ... )
