So Doctor Who and Game of Thrones both come back the last weekend in March and... I'm surprisingly more excited for Games of Thrones than Doctor Who.  I KNOW!  I'm surprised too.  IDGI.  I've been watching Doctor Who far longer and I'm way more involved in the fandom, but I can't stop thinking about Game of Thrones ( Read more... )

I am ridiculously excited for the Red Wedding.

I know it's going to be bloody and disturbing, but knowing what happens it makes me anxious to how they're going to pull it off. I know some people haven't been happy with some of the decisions the show has made in regards to certain epic scenes (i.e. House of the Undying, for example), so I'm hoping that they don't skimp on this particular part because I think it's incredibly crucial, and many fans are wanting (and equally dreading) seeing it portrayed on the show.

I still feel that her ruling the lower part of Westeros and the Starks ruling the North is ideal end game for me. And I hope Tyrion makes it, too. That's it. That's my vote for who should win the Game of Thrones.

Pretty much my thoughts, too.

Haha, yeah, I feel pretty guilty feeling so excited about the Red Wedding because I know it hurts but hey, misery loves company. I can't wait until everyone else is sobbing right along side me. I have confidence that they're doing that scene well. They spent, like, a week or two in Ireland filming it.

Speaking of filming, I've seen pictures of Daenerys with an army. I can only assume it's the unsullied. They've also cast Missandei. I'm really interested in seeing how they do that whole arc. I had a lot of conflicting feelings about it in the book.

Oh God, I just remembered... Arya is at the Red Wedding, isn't she? Like, seconds away from seeing her mom for the first time in forever. Oh god. OH GOD! *CRYING AGAIN* I have a lot of feelings about Arya too. I feel like she kind of got brushed aside in the last couple of books (still have half the last book to go, though), but I'm rooting for her to make a comeback. Her and Sansa need to reunite and rule the North together and be awesome Starks.

Arya finally reached the castle moments -after- the Red Wedding, and noticed the Stark troops were there, and, thus, her mother and brother... And she was so excited! And, yeah... You know the rest.

So close, but not close enough.
