People are just horrible. I don't get it. I don't know why fandoms are so insane. Well, part of it is probably because most of us have some kind of social/mental/emotional issues, which is why we connect to fandom in the first place, but that's no excuse. Not all of us go around calling people names or saying the most hurtful things we can think of.

Just know that people who are normal are not going to have a problem with you expressing your feelings, will know you're a HUGE Misha fan, and will still be your friend. (IMO, at least.) And from what I know of Misha, if he read your opinion about his event, he'd either be compassionate and try to talk to you about it, or he'd shrug it off and say "hope she makes the next one." He's not a bully asshole who's going to say "YOU CAN'T BE MY FAN ANYMORE." Geez. People need to grow up.

I would love to have a conversation with Misha over it. Especially since he's been homeless before. The class issue is really important to me and I feel very strongly about it. I'd love to hear his thoughts.

Possibly. I don't regret my opinion. I just regret that I'm too strong headed to shut up and let people bully me into submission. I wish I was a pushover. Life would be easier.
