I held off until I read the issue, but here I am after reading Avengers # 9 and yes...Steve comes off as an ass in this one. I'll let you read the issue for yourselves, but - damn...alright backing up - let's look at what else came out today before I go into Avengers.

Eep! Sorry about getting over-enthusiastic! My brain has literally run away with imagining all the delish H/C this could potentially lead to! :D

So much truth. Both the 'exploding with angst' part and about Tony's reaction to Steve... TBH *that* was the part which totally killed me ded, that makes me SURE he's gonna do something completely epic suicidal.

And yeah, technically speaking, the Avengers have always been moochers off Tony's back. And they never seem actually realize that and very very massively underestimate Tony's contribution to the teams, financially, politically and PR-wise... Might be awesome if something clued them in...

Eh? What's with the Academy brats? Don't follow AAcad, so, help plz? *puppy-dog eyes*

Hey no need to apologize for getting enthusiastic...over at the comm I wasn't pulling any punches defending Tony. This issue made me snap because of all the things Tony should and rightly deserves blame for - what Steve called him on was not it. But Bendis did a good job - I went next issue NOOOOOW ( ... )

I'm slighly less mad now after actually reading the issue, because Bendis REALIZES Steve is not acting rational, and the Avengers are kind-of-maybe on Tony's side (hey, when was the last time that happened?). Their commentary was pure gold. Natasha(? I think it was her. Someone with red hair) said "They love each other." *is a total fangirl ( ... )

XD it was great seeing some of the older members like Hawkeye and Thor be all they will be fine and all the new members are like O_o'

As for Ultimates...I think I gave up on that verse...if Steve wasn't such an ass I might care more, but as it is...blah.

And I haven't read 500 T_T haven't been able to obtain a copy yet...[sighs]
