(((hug))) I've felt the closest spiritual connection with Buddhism, though I can't say I "practice". I have some amazing reading I can dig up and share from classes I took in college for my minor. :-D

Sort of like your post about plank push-ups, some is better than none. :-) I'm doing yoga once a week at work, and getting in 10-15 minutes of meditation at least once a week, as well as trying to be more mindful about Buddhist concepts throughout my day (breathing and reframing mostly). I've got a really good book I'm going through now that relates Buddhist practice to Western science, which is a good way for me to explain and accept things.

I find some of it I've always done or thought in my own way, other parts that are useful that I haven't done, and some I have a really hard time relating to (the concept of no-self/no soul being the big one). It seems like something that would be easier to commit to and have the discipline for as an aesthetic, not someone trying to live in the modern Western commercialist world.

But some is better than none, and baby steps are ok when you're starting out. (I have to remind myself of that. I hate not knowing something or being good at something right away.)
