I am just tired, tired, tired of living with Family. I currently flat with my brother and sister. I'm sure I drive them up the wall..but it's really frustrating sometimes. Ahh, the joys of family life. I remember mine being as bad. Although the serenity you may be seeking is not a given if you move out. I looked forward to it when i moved out, but I think my neighbours noise is worse. At least with family you can have a rant at them and try to get them to shut up. With neighbours it's oh so much harder.

Eh, that's a pain. I wouldn't say it's just a family thing, though. I think it's trouble living with people who work different shifts full stop.

I had as much trouble when I flatted in Christchurch. Though admittedly that was more to do with flatties using the dryer every single day often twice and especially at night when I was trying to sleep.

I sleep with ear plugs too... *is sensitive*

Just take your time if you do go looking for a new flat. Sending good sleping vibes your way!

I suggest headphones to plug into the TV for your brother and an intercom system from uthe lounge to your sisters room.
Practise does make it easier to get to sleep, like 3-4 years worth.

Sucks! We would make such good rich people! I know the pain of working nights and sleeping days, especially with flatmates who disrespect your right to sleep.
