I'm pretty sure someone confirmed this in the audio commentary. I'd have to either re-watch or dig up a transcript to be sure.

People say he sounded like he was joking, though. And since the audio commentary came out, Joss has still denied it in interviews like the one I quoted and linked to. So...

I haven't actually listened to the audio commentary though so if you wanted to dig up the deets, I'd appreciate it. :)

It didn't sound like a joke to me. It sounded like an off-the-cuff random detail. Someone looked at the screen and thought, "Oh yeah, I can talk about that." I'll have to give it another go, but in the morning. It's almost 1:00 a.m. here.

I agree, the contours of the cheeks, nose and chin are extremely similar. As are the shapes of the lips (slightly ambiguous from different lipstick tints).

Their hands are of comparable sizes and they seem to have the same neck-to-cleavage length.

The only difference I can see is the Wig Lady looks relatively flat-chested, but that can be attributed to bra style or weight fluctuation, or maybe just an illusion stemming from the clothing cuts.

I'd lay 9-to-1 odds that Wig Lady == SMG.

I thought it was her because he said it in the commentary, but yeah, he could have been joking for all we know. I didn't get that at the time, so I'm gonna stick with thinking it's her.

I remember talking about that on Whedonesque and someone was all "nah he was joking!"

Plus, that interview I linked to was during Dollhouse and he very emphatically denied it. So I think it's like he thinks there's some reason he has to deny it (contracts? money?) and he maybe jokingly told the truth on the commentary and is now backtracking.

It's totally her tho!
