Much as Mo/Maya upsets me, this was a great fic! I loved the realism of how they got together and her going grocery shopping. Somehow, the little real life touches like that helped to sell it. But YES for the fantastic visual of Mohinder on the ground with Sylar over him adjusting himself and Maya getting the wrong idea. What a great place to leave it on.

I adored Sylar in this one, with his sarcasm and plotting and the way he's cool as a cucumber at the end.

Thanks! I think this is my way of dealing with the imminent Mohinder/Maya. What really intrigues me about the next season is the numerous parallels that'll be drawn up between Sylar and Mohinder, and how Mohinder and Maya will react to Mohinder's changing personality (and I have a feeling that he will change for the worse). I hadn't even planned on making Maya and Mohinder actually together until I went back and edited the original draft, so I'm glad that the domesticity in their relationship worked for you :)

Sylar is most fun for me to write when he's being snarky and self-assured with Mohinder! I only hope that we'll get to see some more canon interaction like this (or otherwise) in the upcoming season!

Oh wow.

I read this fic early this morning and didn't get a chance then to comment but I thought about this fic on and off all day.

I really loved it - your writing style is just so engaging. I am trying to be more eloquent here but words fail me :)

Even tho' I am not a Mohinder x Maya fan I still liked the way in which you presented them here, there is nothing showy or fantastical about their relationship, just two people who have found one another and are trying to make it work.

Adding Sylar to the mix just makes it a 100x better.

Anyway, needless to say, I adored this! Great job!

I'm still not really satisfied with the spoilers of Mohinder and Maya getting together so soon according to the show's timeline; however, I'm interested in seeing how exactly the writers will go about handling that relationship. I'd like to think that it turns out to explore what you said about them, instead of how it's currently being advertised (based on physical attraction).

I just couldn't resist putting in Sylar's reaction to finding out about them getting together! Not only did I have fun writing about him being such an ass, but I also think that he wouldn't hesitate at pointing out the increased number of similarities between himself and Mohinder. Which, I'm sure, would make Mohinder think twice about his changed lifestyle xD
