Like I've told a couple friends recently: Anything that improves your resume when you search for jobs AND keeps you away from finding jobs while the economy is in the worst shitter ever should be an option seriously considered.

If you can lock up the financial aid, I'd say go for it. I'm amazingly fortunate to find a job and have my first month on it...while 530,000 people were laid off in the U.S. last month alone. Avoid this economy as long as possible.
