I think part of what is so frustrating about my work is that I mostly feel like I'm doing bullshit stuff like running checks. Sure, check calculations are critical, but I never get to do something more interesting like design to break up the monotony. It drives me crazy how I can have two hours of down time in the middle of the day at work, and then have to stay until 6pm because all the work shows up at around 3pm.
